The Deadly Bludgeon of "Russian Interference"
Were the dismissal and suppression of reports linking Hunter Biden's foreign business dealings to president-elect Joe Biden in the weeks leading up to the November 3, 2020 election an active plot to murder democracy through censorship?

“Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo…” declared Natasha Bertrand reporting for the left-wing media stalwart Politico on October 19, 2020. Less than a week prior, New York Post reporters, Emma-Joe Morris and Gabrielle Fongrouge broke a series of stories detailing damning evidence linking president-elect Joe Biden to his son Robert Hunter Biden’s shady foreign business dealings in Ukraine and China. Surely for left-wing media mainstays such as Politico, NBC, and CNN to so confidently proclaim that seemingly credible evidence shedding light upon a suspected Biden family influence-peddling ring was, in fact, Russian disinformation, compelling evidence of alleged foreign interference must have been available to these outlets.
It turns out that “is” in “Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo” referred to a “belief” held by fifty (50) former “senior” intelligence officials’ that the story exhibited “classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” Despite publishing such a boldly worded headline, Politico acknowledged that the “former senior intelligence officials” presented no new evidence that the emails were, in fact, Russian disinformation. Indeed, the article went on to quote a portion of the former officials’ letter which read “[w]e want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails … are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement.” Nonetheless, the “senior” officials warned, “there are a number of factors that make us suspicious of Russian involvement.” Employing such exacting journalistic standards as these to generate news titles, Politico may as well publish headlines reading “Bigfoot is real” by commissioning letters signed by former “senior” National Park Service employees who “believe” that forest-shrouded sights and sounds encountered during tenures spent in national parks peppering the Pacific Northwest exhibited “classic earmarks of Sasquatch.”
“Come-on, man,” the reader is probably thinking, “surely there was more evidence than a to-whom-it-may-concern statement of faith from former deep state swamp dwellers leading ‘objective’ journalists to conclude that a story backed by witness testimony and signed invoices was Russian disinformation, right?” Well, Politico further suggested that the New York Post revelations were the product of Russian information by referencing an NBC News report revealing that “two people familiar with the matter” indicated that “the FBI is looking into whether the emails were the product of foreign intelligence.” A sentient observer should immediately recognize the meaninglessness of highlighting that “the FBI is looking into whether [insert evidence] is the product of foreign intelligence.” Indeed, it is tautological that the FBI “looks into” whether potential evidence is a product of foreign intelligence likely anytime it receives a compelling lead pertinent to a public political figure. While the NBC report did not disclose the identity of the “two people familiar with the matter,” it did note that the FBI declined to comment altogether. The circular logic evident here that fuels the left-wing media echo machine should be obvious to any somewhat-conscious observer.
CNN hitched a ride on the Russian disinformation bandwagon when its business division published an article summarizing a Brian Stelter “Reliable Sources” rant concluding that the Hunter Biden story was simply too bizarre to be true. Brian Stelter — whose hot takes include enthusiastic reports that videos of Joe Biden riding a bicycle constitute conclusive evidence that Biden is not, in fact, suffering cognitive decline — apparently lacked the imagination necessary to recognize that a Delaware computer repair shop owner might turn over to the FBI the abandoned laptop previously belonging to a politically significant controversial public figure like Hunter Biden. For Stelter it was beyond the realm of possibility that a ne’er-do-well recidivist drug addict might damage his laptop during a bender, take said laptop to a local computer repair shop, and subsequently forget about the series of events that led to the parting of ways with said laptop. Likewise, every outlet claiming that the New York Post was furthering Russian propaganda was also diligent to note that reporters had yet to verify the authenticity of the emails discovered on Hunter Biden’s laptop. In other words evidence casting shadows upon Democrat candidates must not be genuine until the evidence is sufficiently authenticated by left-wing reporters.
Of course, what happens when enough left-wing media outlets start screaming “The Ruskies! in response to news that might damage Democrats? Censorship happens. Tech-bros Gemini, Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey, swiftly moved to block links to the New York Post stories shared on their respective social media platforms. Twitter went as far as to ban the Post’s Twitter account for two weeks along with accounts held by individual users who shared links to the Post story.

To understand the left’s coordinated censorship effort enforced by big tech, it is important to understand the significance of the information discovered on Hunter Biden’s laptop. Aside from lurid images and video depicting Hunter Biden indulging in illicit drug use, copulation, and both simultaneously, several emails were discovered that, if genuine, completely discredit Joe Biden’s repeated denials of entanglement with Biden family foreign business dealings. For example, the emails between a top Burisma executive, Vadym Pozharskyi, and Hunter Biden from 2014 and 2015 suggest that Hunter Biden - who had zero expertise in the utilities sector — was hired for the sole purpose of leveraging American political influence needed by Burisma, a gas utility run by corrupt Ukrainian oligarchs, to avoid politically motivated criminal inquiries and extortion efforts from factions within the Ukrainian government. These emails confirmed that within a year following Hunter Biden’s hire, he arranged a meeting between Pozharskyi and Joe Biden — who, at the time was Vice President of the United States serving as Obama’s point man for a United States led Ukrainian anti-corruption campaign — in Washington, D.C. This meeting, in turn, took place less than a year before a Biden convoy would travel to Ukraine and explicitly threaten to withhold from Ukraine $1 billion in United States’ loan guarantees unless government officials moved to terminate prosecutor Viktor Shokin from his post. Shokin at that time was reportedly re-opening an investigation into allegations of corruption involving a Burisma now armed with a board staffed by Joe Biden’s handsomely remunerated son. Other emails from Hunter Biden's laptop revealed that equity interest was explicitly reserved for Joe Biden during negotiations underpinning nascent financing arrangements and partnerships brokered between Hunter Biden and Chinese oligarchs while Hunter Biden was accompanying his father on diplomacy missions to China on Air Force 2.

Former Biden family business partner, Tony Bobulinski.
Fast forward to the weeks leading up to the November 3, 2020 POTUS election when Silicon Valley and establishment media quickly mobilized to censor New York Post on social media platforms, Tony Bobulinski, one of Hunter Biden’s former business associates, appeared on Fox News to authenticate the emails dismissed by left-wing media outlets as lacking authenticity. Bobulinski further divulged that he met with Joe Biden directly during an event in Beverly Hills, California to discuss details and address concerns about a potential Hunter Biden partnership with CEFC Chinese Energy. Bobulinski confirmed that — in one email designating that a 10% ownership stake would be “held by H for the big guy” — “the big guy” was a reference to Joe Biden. For a politician who has been in public office for nearly half a century and, who, in all likelihood, was routinely a beneficiary of the corruption outlined by the Post’s reporting, it should come as no surprise that grifters like Joe Biden who enter political office in their thirties emerge as multi-millionaires.
Furthermore, Tony Bobulinki, a life-long Democrat and Navy veteran, expressed his anger and disgust with Joe Biden when, during the second presidential debate, Biden advanced the narrative that the Hunter Biden laptop revelations were part of a Russian disinformation campaign. Apparently not satisfied with authentication by a seemingly credible source in Bobulinski, and notwithstanding the circumstantial authenticating evidence already published by the Post that included an interview with the repair shop owner and copies of invoices identifying Robert Hunter Biden as the laptop owner, along with disregarding the existence of previous media reports spanning the last several years corroborating the Biden family’s contacts with Ukrainian and Chinese oligarchs during time-frames consistent with the emails, left-wing media remained radio-silent on the Hunter Biden story until long after the 2020 presidential election race was decided.
Actively suppressing this story from public view was quite possibly the largest contributor to Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential victory and the most glaring example of election fraud committed during the weeks leading up to November 3rd. The establishment media’s post-election seismic shift to inform the public of the fact that Hunter Biden has been under the magnifying glass of federal prosecutors for nearly two years for alleged tax evasion and likely money laundering in connection with his foreign business escapades that we now know are, in turn, likely connected to Joe Biden, is first-degree media malfeasance. The United States of America needs a new media. Readers can foster this movement by supporting this independent writer here.
